Good service, mediocre product

SOUNDIUM STORE offers fast, professional, and pleasant service, making it a highly recommended store for Hi-Fi and studio equipment. PRODUCT: While I generally appreciate Audio-Technica products, the AT618a record stabilizer was somewhat disappointing. Despite its excellent, solid metal and rubber construction, attractive appearance, and compact size (hight of 3.01 cm, fitting under most modern turntable dust covers), it failed to deliver on its promise of reducing resonance and improving sound quality. The improvement in my system was next to nothing. This accessory appears to be ineffective for vinyl setups priced around €6000 or less, perhaps only offering value for very expensive high-end equipment.
