Argon Audio SA1 MK2 + CD1 + Forus 4 Hi-Fi System – A Whole CD System on One Shelf

Three Argon Audio boxes designed in Denmark to work as one: the SA1 MK2 amplifier, the new CD1 player that stacks neatly on top of it, and a pair of Forus 4 bookshelf speakers. CDs, Bluetooth from a phone, the TV over HDMI ARC and a turntable through the built-in phono stage all play through the same compact rig. One order, one set price, and nothing left to match.

In This Setup

• Argon Audio SA1 MK2 – 2×100 W (4 Ω) / 2×50 W (8 Ω) Class D stereo amplifier with a fully balanced 32-bit ESS Sabre DAC (up to 24-bit/192 kHz), HDMI ARC, optical, RCA and MM phono inputs, Bluetooth 5.0 with aptX HD and AAC, pre-out and gold-plated speaker terminals. 25.2 cm wide. Black or White.
• Argon Audio CD1 – compact CD player built around a dedicated slot-loading CD drive, ESS ES9023 DAC, RCA line out plus coaxial and optical digital outputs, THD+N below 0.007 %, dimmable display, remote control and auto standby under 0.5 W. Same 25.2 cm footprint as the SA1 MK2. Black or White.
• Argon Audio Forus 4 (pair) – passive 2-way bookshelf speakers with a 4-inch paper-cone woofer and 0.75-inch soft-dome tweeter, 60–20,000 Hz, 4 Ω, 85 dB, magnetic front covers and gold-plated terminals. 23.9 × 14.8 × 18.9 cm. Black, White or Walnut.

• Made to stack: CD1 shares the SA1 MK2's footprint and finishes, so the two sit as one unit on a shelf or sideboard.
• Right power for Forus 4: 100 W into 4 Ω is more than the small Forus 4 will ever ask for, so the amplifier stays relaxed at any listening level.
